Activation Fees

$5 - 25GB, 50GB

$10 - 100GB, 200GB

$20 - 300GB, 450GB, 600GB, 800GB, and 1000GB

 

How does it work?

  • Upon activation, you will state the plan - 25GB, 50GB, 100GB, 200GB, 300GB, 450GB, or 800GB plan and will be charged the plan rate plus activation fee.
  • The data reset date for all SW plans is the 1st of every month.
  • If the line remains active with no action taken, and the customer does not need more data, their plan will reset on the 1st for data to go back to 0GB.
  • It will renew on the 5th of every month for billing purposes, similar to the other lines under the AT&T Subscriptions section.

If the customer runs out of data and needs to get a new plan, they can easily upgrade to the next plan by paying the price difference. No need to replace any sim card or device since it’s a virtual sim.


What we need to know?
Customer needs to decide if they want it to be a:
1- One time upgrade
2- Current and upcoming upgrade.

 

Data reset date: 1st of every month

Billing renewal date: 5th — Same as other AT&T subscriptions

 

The biggest benefit is:

  • No physical sim cards needed, ever.
  • No APN settings needed, ever.

And the device will pick up on the strongest signal from either ATT or TMO in any area and then use that plan for the moment, if it notices the connection drops to unusable speeds, it automatically searches for a new plan on ATT or TMO with better signal!

For nomadic people or anyone who would like to work remotely, this is the optimal device and plan bundle package.

How you market it is up to you but I would focus on these main points:

  • No APN Settings or set up required
  • No physical sim cards needed at any time
  • Automatically connects between AT&T and T-Mobile towers based on strongest signal
  • Data plans ranging from 25GB - 1000GB to ensure you pay only for what you need

WiFi Name & Password:
By default the wifi network name and password are on the bottom of the device from Skyroam, however we can modify this on our end by requesting to your Slack channel in the following format:

Phase 2 of our program will include a company portal for only your lines to manage and make these changes yourself, but the team is standing by to assist in the meantime while this is fully set up and in process!

 

FAQ

  1. Are these hard data caps or are they throttled when they go over?

    Hard cap at the data limit, but we can activate a new plan if they go over and do not want to wait until the reset date of the 1st monthly.

  2. If a customer only wants to use a plan for a few months, such as a camper, can they reactivate next year with the same hotpot or do they need to buy a new hotspot?

    Same hotspot can be used

  3. Are there any outputs besides wifi on the hotspot? How does it power?

    There is an output of USB-C with an adapter to charge a phone from the power bank as well. Charges via the charging cable provided or via any USB-C charger.

  4. About how long does it take to get one activated? Is the activation process the same as a modem?

    2-5 mins to activate, if that. Once you have the device it is already added in our inventory and we just need to assign a data amount to it!
